Animated series ‘Living with Dad’ earns the numero uno spot at Cartoon Forum 2021

Pitched as one of the 84 projects selected for Cartoon Forum 2021 in Toulouse, that has just ended, Living with Dad, the modern, lively and gentle sitcom on family life was ranked number one among the most followed internationally co-produced projects.

Dupuis Edition et Audiovisuel is currently developing, with Belvision (Belgium), Living with Dad, based on the album by NOB, published by Dupuis, for M6 in France.

The album was created in 2014, and there have been seven of them so far and one special, The Dad Handbook, published by Dupuis. They have sold over 5,60,000 copies for the French version alone, and have been translated into seven languages: Spanish, Italian, English, Chinese, Dutch, Croatian and Serbian.

“Finding ourselves in the top position is the best reward the team that has been passionately supporting this project for so many months could have! Today we are not alone in loving this project, and that is an excellent indicator of the future success of the series with young audiences and their families,” said producer Arthur Colignon and French Audiovisual production division of Média-Participations MD Caroline Audebert.

Here the official synopsis of Living with Dad: Welcome to Dad’s…well, Dad’s Daughters! Four sisters aged two, eight, 12 and 18, as different as their respective mothers! They share the same actor father who found the role of his life by taking care of  his four daughters. Dad’s daughters is 52 episodes of 11 minutes adapted from the Nob comic book, which allows us to  live the tender and modern daily life of this blended family, endearing and nicely crazy!

Directed by Daniel Klein, the 52 x 11’ series is in 2D animation and distributed by Mediatoon Distribution internationally. Cyril Deydier is the author and it is being produced by Arthur Colignon, and executive producers are Caroline Duvochel and Caroline Audebert from Belvision, and Raphaële Ingberg.
