With less than three weeks before Avengers: Endgame hits theatres, Marvel conjured another surprise out of its hat for the anxious fans with an all new teaser clip that features some never-seen-before visions.
From the last trailer, we were inadvertently told Captain America and Iron Man would let bygones be bygones and team up again for the first time since the ugly spat in Civil War. This ‘special clip’ gives another sneak peek into their rekindled relationship as Cap and Stark could not only be seen strutting the stuff together on the battlefield, but also shaking hands, suggesting it’s all gas and gaiters between them again!
Fans had been waiting for this moment in Infinity War, albeit it never happened. But we knew it’s only a matter of time. And Endgame brings all this saga to a full circle.
Also, there’s this heart-warming moment where Tony is reunited with his sweetheart Pepper Potts as Tony and Nebula supposedly arrive safely back to earth.
There’s also a particular moment where all the surviving heroes, both old and new, assembled under one roof in the Avengers Mansion, probably ideating over possible solutions to reverse the snap. Also, Benatar, the beloved spaceship of the Guardians of the Galaxy, is put to use again as some of the Avengers, led by Captain Marvel, could be seen travelling through it.
And talking of spaceships, Thanos’ gigantic spaceship emerges through the dark, limitless space as out heroes accidentally bump into it. And then, we’re presented with the moment we’ve desperately been waiting for: Thanos is back!
The Mad Titan was kept in the dark in all the teasers and trailers so far, but we finally catch a glimpse of him here as he marks a timely return. Tucked away in his wowzer warrior suit, the purple giant vaguely issues a clarion call to our beloved Avengers.
In the final shot, Cap, Tony, and Thor, the holy trinity of this saga, come together in a very dystopic setting – everything’s doomed, delapidated and destroyed, and we can’t figure out where this is. However, it appears that the triumvirate are readying to fight Thanos.
Another particularly eye-catching moment to note is, none of the heroes could be seen in the quantum suit as teased in the second official trailer. So could that mean all this happens in a different timeline than the one we were left behind last year?
