Summit FX 2022 announces speakers for this year’s edition

The Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Summit FX 2022 scheduled to be held on 29-30 August revealed their speaker’s lineup. The event is a global platform for the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC) sector which is being held in Delhi. 

The Summit FX 2022 lineup of speakers includes industry veterans and thought leaders including: Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology director general STPI Arvind Kumar, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting secretary Apurva Chandra, CII National Committee on Media & Entertainment and Technicolor India head Biren Ghose, Punnaryug Artvision Pvt. Ltd. and Screenyug Creations Pvt. Ltd. founder and CEO Ashish Kulkarni, Whistling Woods International vice president and business head Chaitanya Chinchlikar, and so on. The keynote will be delivered by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting minister of state Dr L Murugan and the closing remarks will be given by India Digital Gaming Society president, CII India @75 chairman and Jetsynthesys CMD Rajan Navani. 

Starting up, there will be a session on National AVGC Centre of Excellence & National AVGC Policy – Government Vision & Roadmap and industry view. Following session is based on Skilling India for AVGC. There’s also a session on Building a substantial Gaming legacy in India. DNEG head of VFX Jigesh Gajjar is going to conduct a session on making the movie Dune. Many more interesting panels on metaverse and other topics are lined up for day one.

Day two of the event will focus on virtual production, Indian and international IPs and start-ups. Dignitaries like Autodesk VFX/CG supervisor Jayme Wilkinson, Federation of E-Sports Association of India founding member Abhishek Issar, Gamitronics founder and CEO Rajat Ojha along with others would be the speakers for the day two sessions.
