‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ merchandise dropped by Disney

After the resounding success of Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the introduction of Sam Wilson aka Falcon as the new Captain America, the media conglomerate has launched a new set of merchandise to celebrate the series.

Winter Soldier

To commemorate the Malcolm Spellman’s series, EW reported the exclusive first look of the new Funko Pop figurines, action figures, Cos-babies, T-shirts, enamel pins, shields, and more that are available to shop or pre-order today on shopDisney.com.

The Funko Pops celebrate Sam’s Captain America in all his winged and new found glory besides Bucky whose merchandise are also available. Even Wyatt Russell’s John Walker (now U.S. Agent), gets a place among the Funko pop merchandise.

After the merchandise for WandaVision was launched, they were sold in no time, hence it’s expected to see the same happen in this case.

Sebastian Stan (Bucky) and Anthony Mackie (Sam) reprise their respective roles in the MCU from the film series. Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Danny Ramirez, Georges St-Pierre, Adepero Oduye, Don Cheadle, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Florence Kasumba, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus also star.

US Agent

In September 2018, Marvel Studios was developing a number of limited series for Disney+, revolving on the supporting characters from the MCU films such as Wilson and Barnes.

Spellman who was hired in October, chose to focus on the racial issues raised by Wilson being handed Captain America’s shield at the end of Endgame. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was confirmed in April 2019, and filming began in October 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to the Czech Republic in March 2020. Production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but resumed in Atlanta in September before wrapping in the Czech Republic in October.
