The Walt Disney Company has announced that they will discuss the fiscal full year and fourth quarter 2021 financial results via a live audio webcast on 10 November 2021.

In an official statement, they have mentioned that the live audio will begin at 4:30 pm ET/1:30 pm PT. The results will be released after the close of regular trading of the day.

During the quarterly financial results, we can expect an update about Disney+ subscribers, along with Hulu and ESPN+ subscribers.

Recently, Disney’s CEO Bob Chapek revealed that the growth of Disney+ in terms of paid subscribers might slow down in the fourth quarter of 2021 during an online session at Goldman Sachs 30th Annual Communacopia Conference.

“In Q4 I think what you can expect to see is that our global paid subs (subscribers) will increase by low single digit millions of subscribers versus Q3,” Chapek said while commenting about the global subscriber base of Disney+.

However, he was positive about the sub-growth of the core market (exclusive of Hotstar) both domestically and internationally in the fourth quarter.

The financial results will be held just two days prior to Disney+ Day, a day-long event celebrating the second anniversary of the streaming service.

This year, to mark the day and engage new audiences around the world, Disney+ will make its debut in South Korea and Taiwan on 12 November and in Hong Kong on 16 November.

In honour of the anniversary, subscribers will be treated to new content releases across the service’s iconic brands, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star in international markets, along with a special presentation on Disney+ for fans with sneak peeks into what’s to come.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, a new short from The Simpsons and many other amazing creations are lined-up for their streaming premiere.
