“You teach me and I’ll teach you, Pokemon! Gotta catch’em all”

Most of us who have watched or played Pokémon series are well versed with this song and till date enjoy listening to it. ‘Pokemon’ has been a part of our lives since 1996, be it in a gaming form, animated show, toys or comic books. And early this month, during the Super Bowl 50 Pokémon released as fans claim, ‘the best Super Bowl commercial’ to air in the event’s lifetime as Pokemon completing 20 years, a lot is in store for the coming years with Pokémon GO and Pokémon Z. Along with these two, Nintendo unveiled the next big Pokémon games: Sun and Moon which will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS in holiday 2016.

Before Nintendo officially announced Sun and Moon, a Nintendo parody account had already leaked out the logos of the game. As for the game, using Pokémon Bank, one’ll be able to transfer Pokémon they’ve caught in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow into their copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon. Pokémon from Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y can also be brought into Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon in the same way.

As the trailer released, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be the first games in the Pokémon series to allow players to choose from nine languages to play in. The Pokémon Sun and Moon’s official debut comes in advance of Pokémon’s 20th anniversary, and there are several new games launching throughout the year whereas next month will see the release of fighting game Pokken Tournament on Wii U, helmed by some of the key minds behind Tekken and Soulcalibur.
