Happy Birthday Kochu Tv; its time for celebration on 16th October

Happines Truck 02The month of October is truly special down south as the humongous entertainment conglomerate , Sun TV’s youngest baby – Kochu Tv turns 4 this year.  Launched on 16 October 2011, Kochu Tv was Sun TV Network’s first 24 hours Malayalam kids channel and since then it has successfully managed in spreading smiles all over.  Kochu Tv, though a children’s entertainment channel, has charmed its way into the hearts of many elderly audience as well. On this special occasion, the channel has thought of many out of the box ideas to make the celebrations turn into a grand event.

To begin with,the channel conceptualized ‘Happiness truck’, a truck filled with loads of surprises and gifts driving across the in and outs of Kerala giving away sheer happy moments in the form of gifts to the kids.  The cherry on the cake was when honorable CM of Kerala, Oomen Chandy expressed his share of ‘Happiness’ as he met Kochu TV’s crew. 

That’s not it! A special anniversary bash was held at OBERON mall (Kerala) on the 11 October which incorporated performances by the super active kids, assortment of games, and entertainment by professional artists. The highlight of the show was the launch of a new mash up theme song based on Kochu that involved a lot of the channel’s special cartoon characters.  Adding to the endless celebration was the audio launch of the movie BEN – which included a song completely for kids. The grand event was then finally wounded up with a 40 kilo cake cutting celebration designed with channel’s logo.   For those who missed being a part of the event, the channel will have the highlights telecast as a one-hour special program on 16 October and the weekend to follow. For those who have missed out on the fun, there is nothing to sulk about for Kochu TV shall telecast a one hour special program on 16 October comprising of thee highlights of the fun filled event. IMG_0789

The grand celebration shall also telecast the channels most adored shows Dora The Explorer, Marsupilami, Pink Panther, Toto Trouble, Famous Five and Mr. Cookies for a longer period of time than as usual to the much delight of the toddlers. Ok wait…there is more!!! The channel has put up a contest that shall give an opportunity to its audience to share their memories; in the form of one liner or any anecdotes about the channel via it’s “Once upon a Time Kochu“ contest.  The contest that will air from tomorrow shall not only be restricted to merely children but shall also cater to the entire class and mass irrespective of their age.

For all the tiny tots who are about to get restless on feeling that their school timings shall clash with this fun-filled day; then there is nothing to brood about. For those rushing to school, the channel has a short but sweet treat to bring that one big curve across your faces  with Madly Madagascar to be aired at 7 am, just to make your day begin with loads laughter. And yes, last but not the least; for all those toddlers and adolescents sharing their birthday with Kochu Tv .i.e.16 October, a special birthday cake awaits them all.

Apart from this, the birthday channel shall also air a new animation movie – Snow Queen, along with a Teaser Launch of Gali Gali Sim Sim and an interesting magic show – Help! My Supply Teacher’s Magic. So stayed glued to Kochu Tv and be a part of the grand celebration.
