In 2014, we saw Marvel comic’s superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy getting their own film of the same name and the success of the film has now led to them getting an animated show. Though the show will be premiered on Saturday 26, Marvel Music has announced that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Mix Vol. 1, the soundtrack to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy animated series on Disney XD will be released on 16 October.
The film’s soundtrack album had become a major hit and it carried songs from the 70s and 80s as they were “cultural reference points”. The only song the Cosmic Mix includes from the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 is Blue Swede’s “Hooked On a Feeling.” Aside from that, they have a great batch of tunes that should be very pleasing to the younger audiences’ ears.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the new animated, action-packed space adventure following a ragtag band of disparate misfits, debuts with a special one-hour premiere featuring back-to-back episodes on 26 September (Saturday) at 9:30 PM on Disney XD.
