Disney.BYJU’S new early learn app launches in India

BYJU’S, one of  India’s most popular learning apps, has launched the Disney.BYJU’S Early Learn app, available only in India.

Created for young children aged between six to eight years (classes one to three), this app offers personalised learning programs while entertaining them with Disney’s timeless stories and characters from Disney Princess, Frozen, Cars, Toy Story franchises and more.

The features of the Disney.BYJU’S Early Learn App include thousands of animated videos, games, stories and interactive quizzes; digital worksheets to ensure hands on learning and real time feedback; state-of-the-art parental reporting system; Contextual and foundational learning experiences.

Commenting on this BYJU’S founder and CEO Byju Raveendran commented, “BYJU’S pedagogy and content expertise are enhanced by the compelling storytelling of Disney in this app and will give a strong head start to the way young children learn their first concepts in India.”

In this app, kids will get to choose their journey of quests and practice what they have learned through games. To enrich the engagement and enhance the experience, the app maps each character to a particular concept, based on the character’s true nature and original story. For an instance, Belle from Beauty and the Beast loves reading, so her narrative is built around concepts like letters and sounds.

“Disney stories continue to entertain and inspire kids and families in unique ways. With BYJU’S, we are excited to offer another unique way for kids in India to interact with Disney characters on a platform they value,” added  Disney Publishing, APAC regional director Veronica Cabalina.

Disney.BYJU’S Early Learn App will offer a first-of-its-kind integration of offline to online learning experience through BYJU’S recently acquired Osmo platform. The app is currently available in India on Google Play Store and will soon be available on the Apple App Store.
