Cartoon Network shows off its best at BLE 2014

Cartoon Network is headlining its BLE slate this year with top-rated, award-winning comedy series Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball. The appetite for Adventure Time has never been greater and in the wake of successful deals with H&M, ASDA, Tesco and many others. Cartoon Network is looking forward to forging new and evermore interesting partnerships for this contemporary comedy brand. Cartoon Network’s ground-breaking multi-platform franchise Mixels and its long-standing, classic boys brand Ben 10 (now grossing $2 billion in retail sales in EMEA with over 100 million toys sold worldwide) also feature strongly in its BLE offering for 2014. Cartoon Network’s original “girl power” franchise, The Powerpuff Girls, will be celebrated at a themed cocktail party on the stand with the chance to win a unique, one-of-a-kind, Powerpuff Girls inspired handbag by London designer Joanne Stoker. “BLE is the perfect time to demonstrate the power and personality of the Cartoon Network brands,” said Johanne Broadfield, VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises – Turner Broadcasting EMEA. “Combining established franchises like Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10; innovative brands like Mixels, and comedy hits like Adventure Time makes for a world class offering that shows how passionate we are about creating outstanding fun and superb products with partnerships that can bring the fun to life beyond the screen. It’s a very exciting time for Cartoon Network.” An all-new series produced by Cartoon Network Studios and a full international licensing programme is slated for 2016. The Powerpuff Girls remains one of the top-grossing Cartoon Network brands of all time, with more than $2.5 billion in retail sales and success as a global fashion brand with a range of apparel partners and fashion collections around the world. Cartoon Network is expanding its adult classic range, inspired by the iconic show and characters.
