Animated franchise Boonie Bears which has captivated audiences across 82 countries worldwide since 2012, will release it 11th animation film Boonie Bears – Guardian Code in Indian theatres on 10 May in English and Hindi.
Synopsis: Boonie Bears – Guardian Code is the story of two lovable Bear Cubs Bunnu & Munnu who have been living happily with their mother Barbara in the forest of Crystal Peaks until a devastating fire separates them from their mother. Many years later they get a mysterious clue about their mother being alive. Determined to unravel the mystery of her disappearance with grit and courage, the bear brothers ultimately emerge victorious by confronting the truth and rescuing her.
The franchise Boonie Bears consists of 10 films and extensive TV series spanning 11 seasons with 728 episodes worldwide since its debut on 22 January 2012. Alongside it, the IP has expanded its reach with five books. It is currently being streamed on Netflix, Sony and Disney globally.
The Boonie Bears film series is based on the animated television show produced by Fantawild Holdings. The film was acquired and released in India by Ultra Media & Entertainment Group.

Boonie Bears was first shown on television in 2013 with BB: Homeward and in 2014 with BB: Robo-Rumble. Some well-known TV series from the franchise were were: BB:Snow Daze, BB:Sunsational Summer, BB: Autumn Awesomeness, BB: The Adventurers Part 1, BB or Bust ,BB: Forest Frenzy, BB:Sprint Into Action, BB: The Adventurers 2, BB: Monster Plan, BB : Monster Plan 2: Boonie Bears.
