5 games to ‘score’ on the couch

If Video games are what bond your relationship with your better half, we at AnimationXpress to celebrate Valentine’s Day have short-listed five games that a couple could play on this special day. So get scrolling and let your fingers do the talking!

Circulets

The game from the Indie studio HashStash, Circulets is a lovely handheld game which is played by two players swiping the circles matching them to the bar at either end of the device. The game has different modes which test your finger-jousting skills against your opponent. Time trial mode has an option to choose the duration between 30, 60 and 90 seconds. An infinity mode where the first player to collect a certain amount of circles wins and then the most hilarious one is the flipped mode where one fights for an opposite color. The different colour options add to the charm of the game and makes for a perfect setting for two people this valentine.

Portal 2

Portal has been synonymous with puzzle solving and one of the most played games when it debuted back in 2007. The sequel which was bundled with the multiplayer gameplay is what one can try during this Valentine and figure out puzzles in a collective manner. What is better than one test lab subject – Two.

Call of Duty Series

Which Valentine’s Day is complete without ‘some action’, Call of Duty games have a wonderful multiplayer mode where you could team up to kick some arse, or play against each other to spice up things a little. Working on the shooter, couples could look to feel closer, and get them thinking on the same page. Plant bombs and help each other capture flags or just compete on who scored the most kills.

Mario Kart 8

Fans of the Mario series and racing genre could plug in their Wii U’s and select from the array of characters that are offered in the game race against each other in the go-karts. Hinder the opponents who come in your way and use weird objectiles to throw them off track. With up to 12 players available for racing, the couples could bring in their friends and have a blast!

The Just Dance series

Ubisoft’s the Just Dance series has been popular for a party based video game. If you’re in the mood to get up and groove then Just Dance is just the medicine you need. The game uses various motion controls or sensors to track your movements as you and your friends or loved ones go head-to-head. Developers from Ubisoft have tossed in a new track list, brought popular game modes Dance Mashup and Party Master back along with keeping new hit songs available for download off the online marketplace which help the mood going for the party.
