Speculation: ‘Free Fire’ might feature Bollywood star, Hrithik Roshan as a new character

Garena Free Fire has teased the announcement of a brand-new character which will be added to the game. According to the leaks the new addition will be a character based on Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan, The inclusion of the character is a part of the company’s ‘Be The Hero’ campaign, however, the company has not been vocal about it.

Earlier in July according to Republic the leaks of Free Fire update reveal that Hrithik Roshan’s character in Free Fire will be named as “Jai”. The real names of the real-life characters are not used in the game and this is why Hrithik Roshan in the game will be called Jai. Jai is a name with which the War actor has made many appearances, such as in Kites, and Bang Bang. Like his character in Bang Bang, Hrithik Roshan in Free Fire will come to this game as a SWAT agent.

According to the Digit they have received a mail which mentioned that the developers were looking forward to “bringing together two extremely popular industries in the country”, namely film and gaming. This pretty much confirms that the new character will be based on a prominent name in the film industry.

The leaked image also bears a striking resemblance to the one teased by the company. Not only that but the teaser suggests that the new character will be in his forties, and Hritik Roshan’s current age is 46. The new character will have an ability called ‘Furious Reload’ which is said to automatically reload any weapon that the player is using.
