Red Bull Flick is back again for 2021 and this year it is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event to have custom maps and a futuristic new narrative. 

The ultimate 2v2 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, Red Bull Flick first launched in 2019 with a local event in Turkey, growing to a whole new level in 2020 with a global campaign and 45,000 competitors from over 30 countries signing up. Now, Red Bull Flick is back again for 2021, seeing skilled pairs of gamers battle it out in national, regional or international online qualifiers for the chance to be crowned number one. Winners will also get to challenge their CS:GO idols in the official Pro-AM competition, the Red Bull Flick Invitational Helsinki, to conclude the season.

More info on the event and the India Qualifiers was announced during the Red Bull Flick Frag Out Stream, a casual match up of  CS:GO players, that was broadcast from the Sky Esports Studio in seven languages including Hindi, English, Punjabi, Bengali, Malyalam, Tamil and Kannada. Big names in CS:GO and gaming like V3nom, Xyaa, Robo, Sikhwarriorlive, Antidote, Zishu and more participated

Team V3nom won the challenge and with that new info about the tournament were revealed. Red Bull Flick India will have four qualifiers, a group stage of the top-16 teams, and a national final to determine the winner. Here is the schedule of the tournament: –

Qualifier 1 (online): 26 June 2021

Qualifier 2 (online): 30 June 2021

Qualifier 3 (online): 3 July 2021

Qualifier 4 (online): 7 July 2021

Group Stage – top 16 teams (online): 10 July 2021

National Finals (online): 17 and 18 July 2021

As per the official FAQ – Red Bull Flick 2021 will comprise online qualifiers open to all registered competitors in more than thirty countries. Winners of national, regional or international online qualifiers will progress to the closed qualifier to earn a spot at the Red Bull Invitational Helsinki, where they will be able to prove themselves against some of the best pro CS players in the world.

The international qualifiers are open to everyone in the EU and CIS regions and will be single elimination until a winning duo is determined. The winning duo from each of the eight international qualifiers will advance to the closed qualifier.

The closed qualifier is the final hurdle on the road to Helsinki and will consist of all the international qualifier winners and eligible national qualifier winners. The event will determine the final eight duos that will compete against invited pro players and the winners of the Nordic Finals at the Red Bull Flick Invitational.

Red Bull Flick international qualifiers take place between 24 April – 16 October, with the Closed Qualifier on 30 October.
