VFX Orangutan to participate in Valorant Challenger South Asia

Orangutan to participate in Valorant Challenger South Asia hosted by Riot Games and Nodwin Gaming

Orangutan gets a slot in the Valorant Challenger South Asia which is going to be held in Delhi, India. This event is being co-hosted by Riot Games and Nodwin Gaming in India.  

The esports team’s entry into this competitive tournament will see the participation of its five-man Valorant roster which is based out of India. On 21 January 2023, the team revealed its men’s Valorant roster at their Illenium event in the presence of over 3500 attendees. The event took place at NSCI Dome in Mumbai and was hosted by Atlas Skilltech University.

Orangutan Gaming believes it is ready for the upcoming Valorant Domestic League in India. The roster consists of three players from India and two players from the Philippines. Four of the players have been consistent performers in the Indian Valorant ecosystem along with a team known as Enigma Gaming, and the last player coming in from a Philippines organisation known as South Build. 

The players that makeup the roster are: 

• Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose – India 

• Akram “Rawfiul” Virani – India 

• Rishi “RVK” Vijayakumar- India

• Jon “Tesseract” Michael Piga – Philippines

• Azis “Azys” Nandang – Philippines 

• Felipe “Skye” Lim – Singapore – Coach
