Here’s what you need to know about G-Donkey Guild’s upcoming Axie Infinity tournament ‘Axie Yudh’

G-Donkey Guild has organized Axie Yudh, an official Axie Infinity Esports Tournament for India players. This regional tournament scheduled to commence from 19 March is a NFT gaming tournaments that have been popping up across the world. 

The regional tournament has a massive prize pool of 57AXS tokens (approx Rs 2,50,000). It will be played in an IPL sort of formats with North vs South vs East vs West.

Players can sign up with a minimum of three axie’s, or even have the opportunity to rent the axie’s from G-Donkey guild, to participate in the tournament. Players have a chance to win 1000 SLP tokens just to take part.   

The tournament pays out players in the cryptocurrency of Axie Infinity called AXS, which can be exchanged for rupees.

The total prize pool of the tournament is 57AXS or Approx. Rs. 2,50,000 at the current value of 50$ (Rs. 3750) per AXS. The all-time high of AXS is $170 (Rs.12750). 

The winners of all four regions will receive 6AXS. While the main event winner will receive 30 AXS. There are free NFT airdrops, to the spectators as well as loads of SLP tokens and AXS tokens to be given out.

Format and schedule 

Players are to join the discord, add opponents, play the series and upload results to the allocated Discord Servers, once the brackets are released. 

Each player will be allowed to bring five axies to the qualifiers, registered at sign-up. Each player will be allowed to register five axies to the main event. These will be registered upon winning the regional qualifier.

The regional tournament will be played in a best of three single-elimination series format within each region. Players will just have to play one best of three series every alternate day starting from the 19 March. The regionals will end with the finals on the 27 March that will be live-streamed on Youtube. Four players from four regions will qualify for the main event which is scheduled for 2 April (North vs South vs East vs West).

The main event will be played in a Round Robin format. The four winners of the regional qualifiers will play each other for points, the player with the highest points will be crowned the winner. 

The regional finals and the main event finals will be streamed on YouTube.

Spectators will receive NFT and token drops during the live stream.The semi-finals of the tournament will be streamed live on the 26 March followed by the finals on the 27 March. The main event will also be streamed live on the 2 April.
