Sony’s State of Play for September 2022 has come to an end after making exciting announcements for 20 minutes, which included information about new titles, new upgrades and fresh gameplay footage that would be coming to PS VR2, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Tekken 8
Sony’s State of Play started on a high note, they released the trailer of Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8. They have shared the release date and other information except that Tekken 8 will release on PlayStation 5.
God of War Ragnarok
God of War Ragnarok’s State of Play trailer featured new gameplay and cinematics, as well as a special DualSense controller that will be sold alongside the game.
Star Wars: tales from the Galaxy’s Edge
A new gameplay clip for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge for PlayStation VR2 has been released, showcasing the game’s numerous settings, enemies, and allies.
Demeo

In the form of Like a Dragon: Ishin, the Yakuza spin-off game Ishin is getting distributed for the first time outside of Japan. In February 2023, the game will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy, an upcoming Harry Potter video game, will have special PlayStation content. A Hogsmeade-focused adventure involving a haunted shop and its unsettling basement was featured in the State of Play.
Pacific Drive
Players will take the wheel in Pacific Drive, the maiden game from Ironwood Studios, and travel through what seems to be a post-apocalyptic version of the Pacific Northwest.
PlayStation Stars Loyalty Program
In addition to providing a timeframe for when you can try to collect the items on your own, Sony also provided a first look at some of the products that will be accessible as part of its free PlayStation Stars loyalty program.
Synduality
Bandai Namco has revealed Synduality, a third-person shooter with mechs and a graphical style similar to Nier: Automata but slightly more vibrant. A 2023 release date was announced in a clip that saw the game in action.
Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade is the reincarnation of Project Eve, the incredibly flashy action game that Korean studio Shift Up introduced last year. Players were given a glimpse of the game’s futuristic setting and plot through a combination of gameplay and cinematics in the video.
Rise of the Ronin
Rise of the Ronin, a PlayStation 5 console exclusive with a 2024 release window, is a new open-world samurai game from Nioh creator Team Ninja. The stunning environment, which is situated during Japan’s modernisation period, was showcased in a video.
