CoD: Cold War Outbreak mode and multiplayer will be free to play for a week

If you’re a Call Of Duty Fan, there is good news for you. Marking the celebration of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone season two, Activision has announced Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Free Access Week.

Deets are that from 25 February to 5 March, all players can check out the game’s multiplayer and Zombies modes, including the brand-new Outbreak experience.

The new Outbreak mode for Zombies is more of an al-fresco experience – it’s set in the massive Ural Mountains map, where you’ll be driving from point A to B in order to complete various zombie-related objectives and challenges. You’ll have to work together with your squad to conduct weird experiments, all while being beset from all sides by the ravenous dead. After each phase, you can opt to bail out through the dark aether portal that appears, or press your luck with increasingly difficult challenges.

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are also conducting a double XP event starting on 26 February and runs until 1 March 2021. Console gamers will be able to enter the double XP event 24 hours early on 25 February 2021.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War season two will create four new Operators, six new weapons, and new multiplayer maps.
