Bumble Bee a 2D shooter game with 3D graphics for Android

Hyderabad based game developer Kiran Kumar who has developed multiple games recently developed a 2D shooter game using 3D graphics called as bumblebee game for android phone. The concept of the game is to survive against the Killer Bees by destroying them with various powers to reach far point and highest score.

Bumble bee is a 2D side scrolling game where player can control the hero with two buttons (Jump and shoot). The main aim of the game is to survive as long as possible by killing the Bees. It features moving forward around the jungle, killing upcoming bees and monsters. The main task is to safely move forward by killing the enemies using the powers. There are various powers like Shield, Green power, and special kill mode.

Speaking to Animationxpress.com about the challenges faced while developing the game Kiran Kumar, Game developer, Shared, “ The biggest challenge for me was Developing a 2d game in an 3d engine which is not simple as developing a 2d game in an 2d engine, the game engine which I am using right now is unity3d ,which is not at all designed to develop 2d games from it so with some Textures arrays, I managed to get a 2d animation feel with 3d cubes as base ”

Apart from Bumble Bee Kiran Kumar has independently developed various games like Snake 3d: Regular snake game with a 3d twist,  X-racers: car racing game developed in unity 3d, aRunner, Race Stunt Fight! Motorcycles and Destroyer HD: Augmented Reality 3D flight shooting game for Android. These games are released under Ace Games which is Kiran Kumar’s personal android developer account.Besides Ace Games Kiran also works at voiceGate Hyderabad

Currently he is planning to release Bumble Bee on iOs platforms and is also working on an Augmented reality project, which is scheduled to release at end of August,2012.
