Netflix Korean drama series ‘Business Proposal’ increases Kross Komics’ readership by 20 per cent

Kross Komics’ Business Proposal, which has stunning visuals and compelling story in English and Indian languages like Hindi and Telugu, is the company’s one of the top three most read comic series. Media reviews have suggested that a show made out of comic books is an instant pick by people that is right on the spot as a frothy, simple rom-com which stays true to the genre. The show has received a total of 218.29 watch hours on Netflix and has kept the audiences glued to the screen; its digital comic did the same to comic book fans.

The Business Proposal of Kross Komics was read 0.5 million episodes that was released in 2021 and it was a hit among the Indian audiences too. This masterpiece has boosted 20 per cent readership on Kross Komics. Korean drama being omnipresent across nations and after being a great success on Netflix, the readership has skyrocketed on Kross Komics. It contributes almost 15 per cent of Kross Komics’ monthly downloads, which counts to approximately 15,420 since July 2021.

Kross Komics co-founder and president Hyunwoo Thomas Kim spoke of the attributes for the success of the plotline, he said, “Business Proposal has captured the audience’s interest in Asian countries, including India. On social media, viewers praised the show for its fast-paced storytelling and charming ensemble cast. The popularity of the show on Netflix has played a vital part in our success, and we expect more readership in coming months.” 

He further added, “K-drama love is always consuming to watch, especially when there is electric chemistry between the leads. Without disclosing much about the series, he said, “Our vast team of artists have put their heart and soul into making this whimsical comic. Audiences worldwide are swarming us with love which inspires us to make more such artwork.”
