‘Solar Opposites’ gets a Halloween Special that premieres this October on Hulu

The Solar Opposites are getting their very own Halloween special, after finishing three seasons, the family is back in a hour long special.

Hulu has released a brand new spooky trailer. The Halloween special is set to premiere on streaming platform on 3 October.

Co-created by Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty) and Mike McMahan (Rick & Morty, Star Trek: Lower Decks), Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff.

Solar Opposites is an adult animated sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan for Hulu. Originally created for the Fox Broadcasting Company, the project was shelved before being bought by Hulu.

The series was originally given a two-season order consisting of eight episodes each. The first season was released on 8 May 2020. The second season was released on 26 March 2021 and a holiday special was released on 22 November 2021. In June 2020, the series was renewed for a third season consisting of 11 episodes that was released on 13 July 2022.
