Popular animation professional Siddharth Bolurker, who for the past two years has been interacting with Indian animation studios on 3D Animation as the Softimage Product Specialist has put in his papers at Real Image.
The 3D animation specialist leaves Real Image to take up a new role as Software Tests Specialist at Montreal based Softimage Co.
Commenting on the development Siddharth shared with Animation Xpress.com,”It’s great that i’ve landed a job doing something that i’ve always enjoyed and its obviously a huge privilege to be a part of Softimage. I look forward to my new assignment and look at this as a whole new learning experience”
On being asked to share his perpspective on the growth of Indian animation in the past couple of years, Siddharth shared, “Indian animation is growing at a fantastic rate, it`s hearting to see so much quality work being done all around. I think the industry as a whole is maturing quickly. As long as we dont loose focus in churning out new talent and managing them effectively, upwards is the only was this market can go. The entusiasm amongst artists is fantastic, and we need to nuture them to make sure we keep outputting quality work”
A graduate of the International Academy of Design ( Toronto ) and a die hard Softimage user, Siddharth has been a part of prestigious studios in Mumbai such as Prime Focus, Paradox Studios and Infinity Post Prod. Ltd before stepping into his role as the Softimage Product Specialist for India.
Having demoed Softimage at shows such as Broadcast India, CGI world and the Softimage launch tour he is also one of the founding members of the Softimage India usergroup.
