PBS KIDS is celebrating Halloween all October long, families can join their favourite characters for all the spook-tacular programming, including screamingly funny episodes and creepy specials airing on PBS KIDS and streaming on the PBS KIDS digital platforms throughout the fang-tastic season!
Little ghouls and their families can join the Sparks Crew as they work to protect all the decorated pumpkins in Citytown with a brand-new episode of Hero Elementary on 10 October then, in an adorable never-before-seen Clifford The Big Red Dog adventure on 18 October, young viewers can tag along with Clifford and Emily Elizabeth as they find everyone’s favorite big red dog the perfect Halloween costume – and help him face his fears while having a fun Halloween at the same time.
In addition, fan-favorite Halloween-themed specials from The Cat in the Hat, Curious George, Wild Kratts, and Arthur will air throughout the month leading up to Halloween. And, the beloved Peanuts classic, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will return to homes nationwide on 24 October.

When Fur Flies:
Something high in the sky is causing a trail of trouble across Citytown, but is it a bird, a plane, or something else? Sparks’ Crew observes the properties of things gone wrong downtown, which leads them to understand what the problem is.
Pumpkin Palooza:
It’s the day of Pumpkin Palooza and a little girl’s decorated pumpkin has been ruined. It’s Sparks’ Crew to the rescue! Learning that the culprit is a hungry squirrel, they work together to design and build a solution to protect all the decorated pumpkins in Citytown.
Clifford the Big Red Dog: New half-hour special premiering 18 October.
The Halloween Costume Crisis:
Clifford and Emily Elizabeth are so excited for Halloween! But, once they hang the perfect decorations and start to put on their perfect costumes, they discover that Clifford’s doesn’t fit! What to do? Emily Elizabeth enlists Mr. Howard to help figure out a new “perfect” costume for Clifford – but in the end, they realize that Halloween will be magical no matter what, just so long as best friends spend it together.
Clifford’s Howl-o-ween!:
Halloween Night has arrived and all of Birdwell Island is ready for candy, costumes, and lighthearted scares – except Clifford, who is actually scared of one particular monster. When the evening gets a little too spooky for Clifford, Emily Elizabeth and friends learn that there’s a difference between fun-scary and scary-scary. Can they help Clifford have a fun Halloween, too?
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – airing 24 October at 7:30 pm
Costumes, candy, this classic special – some things just scream Halloween! Viewers can join the Peanuts gang for a timeless adventure as Charlie Brown preps for a party, Snoopy sets his sights on the Red Baron, and Linus patiently awaits a pumpkin patch miracle.
