Leslie Jones is teaming up with Warner Bros. on a new adult animated series and it could have a tie to the DC universe.

According to Variety, Jones is set to executive produce and star in an adult animated comedy series for Warner Bros. Animation. However, the series does not have a writer attached to the project.

Jones will be voicing the lead character of Plastic Woman; the character will excite the memories of DC Comics fans was previously developing a feature film for the character, who would have been a gender-bent version of Plastic Man.

Plastic Man (Patrick Eel O’Brian) is a fictional superhero first appearing in Police Comics #1, originally published by Quality Comics and later acquired by DC Comics. Created by cartoonist Jack Cole, Plastic Man was one of the first superheroes to incorporate humour into mainstream action storytelling. This character has been published in several solo series and has interacted with other characters such as Batman and many others in the mainstream DC Universe as a member of the Justice League.
