After garnering 60,000 downloads in India within a month of its launch, animation and educational content production company, YOU NEED CHARACTER’s CricketPangTV, has also amassed more than 10,000 subscribers within one month after the official launch.
Speaking about this achievement, YOU NEED CHARACTER CEO Minsu Song told Animation Xpress, “We’re grateful for the love and response. It’s a small start, but India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other countries that love, rather live, cricket are visiting our channel, and we’re happy that our content is resonating with them and their kids. We will continue to upload more gripping and beneficial video content for kids from now on.”
Utilising the characters of its animated series, CricketPang, which is soon going to launch on Indian screens, CricketPang TV channel also offers children’s rhyme series to educate children on good lifestyle habits, said Song.
The CricketPang animated series is slated to premiere on major OTT channels in India in March 2021. “We have a big surprise for our audience, which we’re going to reveal soon and noted partners in India are also continuing to connect, so various businesses will be developed along with video services,” he added.
YOU NEED CHARACTER is making forays into markets worldwide with a variety of content, as a producer of character animations and educational content for children.
