‘Captain Marvel’ to be available in Blu-Ray soon!

After she zoomed into the MCU and became a huge success at the at the box office, Captain Marvel is now going to be available on Blu-Ray as Marvel Studios have dropped a promo trailer teasing the home video release.

Set for a digital debut on 28 May with physical formats following a week later on 11 June, the home seems to be coming with an impressive amount of special features, with the promo teasing extensive extended and deleted scenes, a blooper reel and an “Origin of Nick Fury” feature.

Though Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson) might not have featured enough in Avengers: Endgame that much, but her brief but badass one-on-one fight with Thanos was one of THE moments of the movie. Now Marvel fans can relive the experience of Captain Marvel taking on the Skrulls in her debut movie.

It also seems that at least some of the physical releases (specifically, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray) will come with a 40-page book outlining the making of the movie, which should be packed with concept art, production photos and interviews with the creative minds behind it. In addition to that, Best Buy are offering a very nice looking Steelbook edition, which will surely please hardcore fans.

With Endgame having wrapped up a decade of stories, possibilities are that we’ll see a complete MCU box set starting from Iron Man (2008) to the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home. That’d be quite a feast for the fans, though it’s sure to come with a hefty price tag.
