IMAX releases its exclusive poster for Kannada language period action drama K.G.F. Chapter 2. Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, K.G.F. Chapter 2 stars Kannada superstar Yash in the lead role along with Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj. The story is based on the happenings in the blood-soaked land of Kolar Gold Fields and is a continuation of K.G.F. Chapter 1.
IMAX’s exclusive poster features a determined Rocky with an even fiercer look with weapons in both hands with chaos and goons in the background. The poster reflects Rocky’s thoughts as he braces himself while his enemies are clamouring for revenge and conspiring for his downfall.

The trailer of K.G.F: Chapter 2 was launched amidst tremendous fanfare on 27 March at a grand special event in Bengaluru. It is quite apparent that Prashanth Neel and Co. has put together an extravaganza that is sure to enthrall its most dedicated audience. The three-minute trailer that adorns stunning VFX sees the return of Yash as Rocky, who is now “the biggest businessman and criminal” of the country, as said by the character played by Rao Ramesh. It will take the audiences back to the dusty world of Narachi where a substantial part of the first film was set in.
K.G.F Chapter 1’s Hindi version earned more than Rs 40.39 crore; it became the fourth-highest grossing Hindi-dubbed film after the Baahubali franchise and 2.0 at that time. The film earned more than Rs 204 crore at the domestic box office.
K.G.F. Chapter 2 will be released across all IMAX screens in India and select IMAX markets around the world on 14 April 2022.
