SolidWorks World India 2006 scheduled for August 29

Registrations are pouring in for SolidWorks World India 2006, the annual conference and exposition that brings together customers, resellers, solution partners and well-known global & local keynote speakers. This year’s event takes place Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Leela Palace in Bangalore.

SolidWorks World 2006 will center around the theme “Passion for Design”, featuring a multitude of educational opportunities. Attendees can expect to hear from keynote speakers Mr. John McEleney, CEO of SolidWorks, Mr. Kiran Karnik, President of NASSCOM, and Professor Sanjay Govind Dhande, Director of IIT Kanpur and participate in over 20 breakout sessions, product design showcase, design contest gallery, partner pavilion, networking sessions, and contests and challenges.

Attendees will learn new tips and techniques for working with SolidWorks software, try SolidWorks partner solutions, network with peers, hear product news first hand and discover new techniques for innovation and productivity. At this event, we will also discuss the role of innovation as India becomes the “World’s High-Value Design & Manufacturing Hub.”

The latest version of the flagship product ‘SolidWorks 2007’ as well as next version of COSMOS design analysis software will also be unveiled at SolidWorks World. By tradition, users will submit specific enhancement requests, many of which will find their way into to the next version of SolidWorks software.
