WPT partners with Adda52 for the second edition of WPT online India series

WPT (World Poker Tour) in association with Adda52 is all set to take another step towards expanding its footprints in India. Following the record-breaking success of last year’s WPT Online event, the Indian Poker giant has been again chosen by WPT as its exclusive partner. Adda52 will play host to WPT Online India 2021, which will run from 1 August  to 30 August. The tournament series will feature Rs 25 crore guarantee in prizes, spread across 800 plus events catering to every player category with 45 trophies up for grabs.

The highlight of the series is the Rs 499 buy-in WPT Unreal, which gives away a gigantic Rs 1 Crore guarantee and features 30 entry events from 1 August to 29 August. Surviving players from all the entry events will battle it out for the lion’s share of the prize pool on 29 August. 

The entry to the prestigious WPT Main Event offering three crore guaranteed in prizes will start from 22 August. The Rs 16,500 buy-in event will have 10 entry events, which are scheduled to run for 8 days (22 August to 29 August). All selected participants from these eight days will fight it out for the most coveted title in the Indian Poker circuit on 29 August, during which the champion will be crowned. The winner will also receive the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Titanium watch, a $5,000 WPT passport allowing him to participate in the live WPT events worldwide, Adda52 Wallet Credits worth 1.5 Lac, and the Champions trophy. The runner-up finisher will also be rewarded with a WPT trophy.

Adda52, owned by Delta Corp, became the exclusive Indian partner of WPT in the year 2016. The inaugural event ‘WPTDeepStacks series’ debuted in November 2017 at Deltin Royale- India’s most luxurious cruise casino.  The first edition of WPT Online India, Main Event had Rs 2.5 Crore guaranteed Event, was held on official Adda52 website in November 2020 and went on to become a trendsetter. This year, the two Poker behemoths have joined forces again to break all previous records in terms of entries and prizes and bring this highly entertaining game of skill for every Indian gaming enthusiast.
