Sunidhi Chauhan will voice Elsa in Frozen’s Hindi debut

To freeze everyone in this freezing season, Disney’s Frozen is all set to premiere in Hindi on Disney Channel on 12 December at 12:00 pm. And to add to the buzz, one of India’s most professional singer, Sunidhi Chauhan, will do the voice over for the adorable princess Elsa.

Frozen, bagged the Oscars for the Best Animated Feature and the Best Original Song for its classic hit Let It Go. And to do justice to this exemplary song, Sunidhi will be singing Fanaa Ho which is an Indian adaptation of the same.

It seems that a lot of research has been undertaken by Sunidhi in order to study the character of the princess. Also, the Princess has brought essence to the entire film globally and Sunidhi too aims to bring alive the sensitivity and charm of the protagonist.

The lead character, Elsa, was voiced by Idina Menzel who also sang the original piece of Let It Go and won hearts due to its effective expression of emotions. With Sunidhi having known to entertain the Indian industry by targeting high notes, conveying the depth of emotions of this song and matching the international standard set by Idina will be a task that Sunidhi can achieve profoundly.

Adapting this song for the Indian audience is a challenge but the talent in India has always surprised the viewers in their own unique style. And, Disney’s this adaptation can be expected to be another big surprise!

And the surprise is revealed…
