ReDefine announces a new VFX and animation studio in Barcelona

Global animation and visual effects company, ReDefine, announced the opening of their new studio in Barcelona, Spain. It will join their other European studios in London, UK and Sofia, Bulgaria, and their wider network of global studios across North America and India.

The new Barcelona studio is being led by a team of industry veterans, including studio heads Jordi Cardus (Avengers: Endgame, Ready Player One) and Daniel Buhigas (John Wick 3: Parabellum, A Monster Calls), and creative director and VFX supervisor Patric Roos (Avengers: Infinity War, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2).

“I am thrilled to announce our latest ReDefine studio in the beautiful city of Barcelona. Spain’s film and television industry is booming, and there is a wealth of talent in the country that I hope will be as excited about our new studio as I am. Jordi, Dani and Patric each have impressive experience and credentials, and I am delighted that they will be heading up Barcelona, the twelfth studio in our global network,” said ReDefine MD Rohan Desai.

They are looking for great people to help them build ReDefine Barcelona and are currently hiring across all job roles and levels.

Expanding their Indian footprint, ReDefine launched a new office in Kolkata, West Bengal in March 2022.
