‘Quantum Break’ smashes records to become Microsoft Studios biggest selling new IP for Xbox One

It would be safe to say that when Remedy Entertainment creates a game, it is bound to leave a fantastic impression on the players. Games like Max Payne and Alan Wake stand strong as a testimony to the fact.

Their recently released Quantum Break has further instigated their fame, as it has been crowned as ‘Microsoft Studios’ biggest selling new IP this generation. And to top that up, as revealed by Xbox Australia, the game was also the number one best selling Xbox game in the world during its first week of launch.

Directed by Sam Lake and Mikael Kasurinen, the game follows the protagonist Jack Joyce, who must stop his close friend Paul Serene from bringing the end of time as a time machine experiment fails but gives Jack time manipulating abilities.

The action adventure, third person shooter has garnered immense critical praises from the community veterans. According to them, the game possesses a dramatic yet thrilling storyline and the time manipulation capabilities have been presented wittily.

The game was released throughout the world over PC and Xbox on 5 April, 2016 and went on to become the number one most played new game on Xbox worldwide for its first week since release.

Although, some players who are playing it on Windows 10 are experiencing some problems with the game, the company has announced that they are actively trying to resolve the issue.
