In Week 1 of the TAM’s TV ratings, the mainstay kids channel from Viacom18 – Nick – continues being the leader in the genre with 283 TVTs (314 TVTs).
Second in line was Hungama with 248 TVTs (260) followed closely by Turner’s elder sibling Cartoon Network with 227 TVTs (219) and the younger sibling Pogo at 218 TVTs (207).
Disney India managed to cross the 200 mark, garnering 201 TVTs (199). The other channels including Disney XD, Sonic, Disney Jr, Discovery Kids and Chutti TV are yet to make inroads into the top 5 bracket in the space.
In terms of the reach of the channels, Nick and Cartoon Network were tied at 41 per cent followed by Pogo at 36 per cent.
