New ‘Clash of Clans’ update makes for a more intense gameplay

Town Hall Update 11 is one of the biggest update for Clash of Clans which was released yesterday and it has changed a lot in-game and something the ‘clashers’ will have to adapt.

Clash of Clans’ newest hero Grand Warden which will be unlocked with Town Hall 11 can patrol (on defense) or attack (on offense) both the air and the ground artilleries, and can be upgraded up to level 20 using Elixir. Grand Warden is his passive Area of Effect (AoE) aura ability, called Life Aura that will grant a Health Point (HP) boost to any friendly units within its reach.

The hero also has active ability called Eternal Tomb. It makes all friendly units inside Life Aura’s range temporarily invulnerable, which makes it difficult for the opponent’s defenses. This becomes important once you see the massive splash damage the new defensive structure that is coming in the Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update, called Eagle Artillery, which can be unleashed on attacking troops that are clumped together.

The Defenses too has a new weapon called ‘Eagle Artillery’ which has a similar function has a mortar but much more destructive. For one, Eagle Artillery does not have a restriction when it comes to the range of the weapon but will only activate after a certain amount of troops have been deployed on the battlefield.

The new update also has added upgrades for other characters which include level 3 Witches, level 8 Minions and further upgrades of Gold and Elixir storage to level 12 (these things can hold up to 10 million Gold and Elixir). The players can now add five more defensive structures and also donate spells to their clanmates in the Clan Castle and help the defense during a war.

The a bigger map of a new size of 44×44 tiles will fit all the new stuff which has come with the update and the Clash of Clans shield system is being seriously revamped to make Clash of Clans fairer for all players.

Attacks during the shield have also been introduced with the Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update and will cost a percentage of the remaining shield time instead of wiping the shield entirely. It will cost 3 hours of the remaining time left on the shield, however Clash of Clans players will be able to browse targets with no penalty while shielded.

The Personal Break system has been revamped as well in this upcoming Clash of Clans update, and players will now be kicked offline after spending 3 hours of time online without a shield. This is a decrease from the current 6 hour time limit.
