MPC VFX talent search comes to Mumbai this saturday

Then look no more as Moving Picture Company (MPC) is looking out for fresh talent for their facility in Bangalore. MPC is coming to Mumbai this Saturday, 19 March to conduct interviews for their Bangalore facility.

Technicolor-owned VFX studio MPC is one of the fastest growing visual effects operations in the country and its on-going expansion means that it has positions open to work on some choice forthcoming blockbusters. These include Ghost in the Shell, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Independence Day: Resurgence and many more.

MPC Bangalore has already completed a vast amount of shots on an impressive slate of titles including The Jungle Book, Spectre, The Revenant and Guardians of the Galaxy.

The senior MPC artists coming to Mumbai from Bangalore to interview talent are on the lookout for a broad range of skills but, in particular: Compositors, Roto Prep artists (mid and senior), MatchMove and Software Developers.

Applicants should have a minimum 2+ years of production experience in Nuke and Silhouette (for paint) and should have hands on experience with 3D Projection, Paint and Tracking in Nuke in Hollywood VFX projects.

MPC Bangalore has gone from strength to strength since its opening in 2010 and is now working on increasingly complex shots that are integrated seamlessly with the work being done at the other MPC Film studios in London, Montreal and Vancouver. It now also offers an Academy programme for artists to get into the industry with intensive training in their in-house finishing school.

MPC’s visit to Mumbai is not the first time the studio has looked outside Bangalore to add to its workforce and there are plans for a number of other visits to talent hubs like Pune, Hyderabad in the future. The studio is committed to assembling a line of some of the best talent in India and is scouring the country in order to make that happen.
