The game is far from over. Jumanji: Open World has unveiled a new trailer packed with action, comedy and chaos, setting the stage for a Christmas Day adventure in cinemas worldwide on 25 December 2026.
Directed by Jake Kasdan, the film brings back Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan, with Nick Jonas also starring. The trailer teases an unexpected twist as characters from the game world enter reality, blurring the boundaries between the two and opening the door to a fresh round of mayhem. How the two worlds collide remains under wraps, but the stakes look set to rise.
The latest chapter builds on a franchise that began with the 1995 film starring Robin Williams before being reimagined with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). Both films became global box-office hits, keeping the adventure alive for a new generation.
Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release Jumanji: Open World in cinemas in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 25 December 2026.
With the game crossing into the real world, this Christmas, audiences can expect the action to get real and the laughs to come with it.
