International trailer of Pixar’s ‘The Good Dinosaur’ takes the audiences deeper into the movie

An amalgamation of sympathy, a lot of chuckles and en number of aww moments is what Pixar’s recently launched international trailer  ‘The Good Dinosaur’ is all about. Unlike the first US trailer that was released in July, one can finally get to hear the dinosaurs speak in this two days old promo.

The one minute clip takes the audience in a roller coaster ride of emotions right from the very first scene when Arlo, a baby dinosaur drifts apart from his father to his short yet scary encounters where  everytime his friend Spot, a young human boy comes to his rescue.

Subtle and simple moments like Spot crossing  a creek  making Arlo the bridge or Arlo’s faint and squeaky roar in comparison with the other three Tyrannosaurus Rexs have been conceptualised in a very humorous and endearing manner. The clip that was released on 21 September is the movie’s second official trailer released in two months; the first US trailer being launched in July this year.

This fantabulous trailer of an incredible combo of a dinosaur and a human boy seems to have connected to the audiences and which is why it is the talk of the town. Well  for the cute voices of Arlo and Spot, you definitely need to thank the 13-year-old Raymond Ochoa and Jack Bright respectively for having done such a commendable job.

Raymond, at such a tender age has already added many feathers to his hat since he has made a number of live-action television appearances on shows like The Night Shift and Rizzoli & Isles. He is famously known for his voice in prominent animated features like Monsters University, Mars Needs Moms, and Disney’s A Christmas Carol. The others who have done justice to the characters are Jeffrey Wright as Poppa – Arlo’s father, Frances McDormand as Arlo’s mother, Marcus Scribner as Arlo’s brother Buck, Steve Zahn as a pterodactyl – Thunderclap, Sam Elliott as  T-Rex Butch, Anna Paquin as T-Rex Ramsey and AJ Buckley as  T-Rex Nash.

The Good Dinosaur shall take the viewers on an emotional voyage of two ‘different yet similar friends’, Arlo a dinosaur and Spot, a boy on their journey of self-discovery and friendship. The movie that is directed by Peter Sohn and produced by Denise Ream shall come across your nearest theatres in US on 25 November, its thanksgiving week this year.

The D23 expo held in August showcased a few extended glimpses into the unlikely but very special friendship storyline. Here’s what we learned about The Good Dinosaur. The film introduces audiences to Arlo, a sheltered Apatosaurus who finds himself far from home, and Spot, Arlo’s human friend. The story is of a role reversal, what that means? Well you will have to find that out for yourself come 25 November.
