With a journey that began in 2011, Fenil Comics has been the creator behind many comic characters for its own publication. And, now with so many characters playing a role in the Fenil Comic Universe, the need for assembling their information became important, giving birth to Fenilverse.
“When we launched first book in 2011, it was clear in our mind, one day we shall release India’s first ever comic book encyclopedia for our comic book characters,” said Fenil Comics founder Fenil Sherdiwala.
The trend that began amongst international publishers like Marvel, DC, Valiant or IDW inspired Sherdiwala to create the first ever encyclopedia of their comic characters. The book informs the readers about 32 characters from the Fenil Comics Universe. It covers superheroes like Om, Faulaad, Bajrangi, Jasoos Balram, Crimefighter, Vetaal, Stunt Girl, Taskara to name a few. Super villians like Cobra, Professor Iron, Anna Golmaal, Mastermind, Sheru and Balwaan also carry a sweet spot in the book. The comic has not left behind the sidekicks like Fakira, Salim, Hussain Khan, Anthony, Manmauji and others who stand by the superhero through thick and thin.
This comic is like a guidebook for the readers, old and new to understand more about the stories and the characters. Fenilverse shares with the readers, detailed information of the characters’ powers, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, and the tasks they have carried out. Sherdiwala further adds, “Fenilverse is like a treasure for aspiring writers or creative artists who are wishing to join Fenil Comics from a career point of view.”
