Imira Entertainment signs deals with AMC, Nickelodeon and Kidoodle.tv

Imira Entertainment, a production and distribution company specialising in kids and youth programming, has sold the imaginative animation The Hero of Color City (1 x 77’) to AMC Network for its EMEA channels, while the same broadcaster has taken preschool series Cleo (39 x 6’) in Poland and Benelux.

The Hero of Color City series which is produced by Exodus Film Group, Magnolia Pictures, and Toonz Entertainment tells story of a diverse band of crayons who strive to protect not only their magical multihued homeland, but the imagination of children everywhere from a terrifying monster.

Cleo series in which we get to see an excitable puppy enchanted by his young owner Irma’s multi-coloured braces – which gives her a smile like the rainbow has crayon- style animation. Imira Entertainments distributes this series, worldwide, holding all rights globally.

Imira Entertainment’s CEO, Sergi Reitg says, “We are delighted to be spreading our footprint even wider in the international content market, strengthening our relationships with broadcasters from all corners of the globe.”

In further deals, Imira has sold its vibrant comedic vignette series Larva (104 x 2’) to air on Nickelodeon channels in Central & Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Greece; and Kidoodle.tv has scooped up a trio of Imira Entertainment’s series to air in the US and Canada: Cleo, The Happets (52 x 7’), and health-centric Vitaminix (104 x 2’).

The Happets are a group of friendly animals that live all together in a beautiful tree house in the middle of the mountains, where each episode is a whole new adventure. The series aims to entertain and stimulate children between the ages of 3 to 6 and help them discover the world around them through playing, expressing their feelings and being themselves.
