ILM behind the magic of Warcraft’s Origim Doomhammer

Warcraft’s legendary Orcish Horde chief Origim Doomhammer is first of the characters to be revealed from the Blizzard Entertainment and Warner Bros. 2016 Warcrafft movie. Revealed by Wired.com, the big muscular Orc certainly looks menacing and is being voiced by English actor Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim and True Blood).

Created by Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) taking reference from the Kazinsky, the Orc looks every bit convincing from MMORPG game series. The wide and imposing character can throw his hammer and take a dozen guys at one go.

“We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor, and the toughness of this character,” said director Duncan Jones about casting Kazinsky. “We’ve gone beyond the point where these are just creatures in movies. We now have the technology and the ability to make new characters entirely.”

Originally slated for a December 2015 release, the principal photography on Warcraft had finished back in May 2014, but got postponed for March 2016. The movie is now slated to be released on 10 June 2016. Legendary Pictures does not want to risk this film with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, just around the corner in December so it moved to a June 2016 launch, which shows that the studio is serious about this Azerothian war.
