How Aquaman and The Flash cameo unfolds in ‘Batman v Superman – Dawn of Justice’

While Warner Bros. and DC Comics may be trying their best to keep two of their upcoming tent-poles, Batman v Superman- Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad under wraps from public eye, some news does manage to leak from the sets.

The recent rumors unfold how the potential cameos of Aquaman and The Flash will feature in the Batman v Superman storyline. It goes without saying that Zach Snyder’s mega Man of Steel sequel Dawn of Justice forms the crux of DC’s Justice League that will feature most of DC’s greatest heroes including the likes of Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman.

While reports confirm Gal Gadot’s incarnation of Wonder Woman to be strongly woven into the upcoming Dawn of Justice, Heroic Hollywood brings about a potential revelation of how Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and Ezra Miller’s The Flash will feature in the movie. (Spoilers Alert)

Following his detective instincts, Batman (Ben Affleck) at some point of time will infiltrate Lexcorp, the conglomerate run by Superman’s nemesis, Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and will analyze surveillance footage on monitors. He will see the Flash only as a blur that stops a robbery which explains why no promo image has been revealed about Ezra as the actor might not feature in person. As for Aquaman, Batman will see the King of Atlantis, held prisoner in a containment chamber, where we also see his hand slap against the glass. As per comics, Aquaman is almost an equal match for Superman’s strength and having managed to contain a superhero of that stature possibly explains Momoa’s Aquaman aka Arthur Curry not yet evolved into King of Atlantis which tails the Aquaman origin story, a potential strong base for the solo Aquaman movie in 2018.

However Heroic Hollywood goes about speculating that Aquaman’s imprisonment could lead to the events of Suicide Squad where Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) might have Aquaman’s trident in a trophy room in her headquarters.

Fans and viewers alike wouldn’t be disappointed if DC goes the Marvel way and strings together its movies creating an all new rebooted DC Cinematic Universe. However critics do point out their nervousness with DC over-stuffing their movies far too much for even a director like Zack Snyder to pull off.

Batman V Superman – Dawn of Justice hits theatres in March, 2016 and already has anxiety hitting the peak with moviegoers. Apart from the much awaited clash between Gotham’s Dark Knight and the Kryptonian, Dawn of Justice promises to be the foundation of DC’s forthcoming roster of Superhero flicks!
