Google Doodle recently marked the new year with the illustration of the Google doodle with confetti, candles, candies, lights and more.
Few hours away from the New Year, which is the year 2022, Google Doodle today has bid goodbye to 2021. The candy is poised to pop as soon with the clock hitting midnight on 31 December to usher in the New Year 2022. The other letters of the word ‘Google’ are adorned with the doodle with twinkly lights and some extra confetti to amp up the party mood.

“That’s a wrap for 2021 – Happy New Year’s Eve!” wrote Google on its doodles’ archive documenting the new design. The doodle went live at 12 am on 31 December and is decorated with lots of confetti, candies and jacklights. With confetti releasing up on the virtual screen, a big candy captioned ‘2021’ is placed right in the middle of the word ‘Google’.
Taking a look back at 2021, the year witnessed some devastating atrocities yet the spirit of people made all the difference with the medical community gearing up to keep the population safe.
