Disney Channel’s upcoming animated series Tangled: Before Ever After based on the 2010 feature film Tangled has appointed star voice cast including Ashley Judd and Broadway star Eden Espinosa to join the original movie’s stars Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi.
Ashley Judd will voice as Rapunzel’s mother, Queen Arianna; Eden Espinosa as Rapunzel’s handmaiden and confidant, Cassandra; comedian Jeff Ross as Hook Hand’s brother, Hook Foot; and Richard Kind as Uncle Monty.
Mandy Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles of Rapunzel and Eugene (Flynn Rider) as they did in the Walt Disney Animation feature. Along with them, Jeffrey Tambor and Paul F. Tompkins will reprise their roles as Big Nose and Shorty, members of the Snuggly Duckling Pub Thugs; and M.C. Gainey (Lost) as Captain of the Guards.
Tangled: Before Ever After is based on the events between the plot of the feature film Tangled (2010) and the animated short sequel Tangled Ever After (2012). The plot follows as the lead character Rapunzel gets acquainted with her newly discovered self, parents, kingdom and the colourful characters of Corona.
Produced by Disney Television animation, Tangled: Before Ever After developed by animation veterans Chris Sonnenburg and Shane Prigmore is set to debut in 2017 on Disney Channels worldwide.
