Well, Disney India celebrated Mickey’s birthday in a humble style by focusing on the basic principle of ‘Spreading Happiness’ in a social way. Team Disney India conducted a celebration at Wadia Hospital, Parel, Mumbai for around 100 children today morning. The celebration included lead characters of Disney’s new show Palak Pe Jalak and Vicky Aur Vetaal interacting with the kids, playing games and a special art workshop was also conducted. Moreover, the video of Mickey Mouse on the Happy Birthday Song from ABCD 2 was showcased; accompanied with dance and music along with gifts distributed among the kids.
While on the channel, the preparation for today was on since almost 3 weeks termed as ’18 Days of Magic’. Fans from across the country wished Mickey in 18 native local languages and a special first of its kind music video was conceptualised for the favourite mouse!
But the celebrations didn’t end here! Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Sunidhi Chauhan sang for him. While, Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Farah Khan, Anushka Sharma, Imran Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sunil Grover, Kapil Sharma, Rajkummar Rao, Karan Wahi and Mandira Bedi also conveyed their wishes for Mickey.
The Walt Disney Company is in its 92nd working year, and Mickey Mouse has been, is and will remain the face of the mouse eared company! And by celebrating his birthday in such a unique social way, Disney has once again brought smiles to a million faces and touched everyone’s hearts in a simple yet effective way.
