Discovery Kids and Maya Digital Studios to unveil fresh episodes of ‘Kisna’ this summer

Discovery Kids will offer unlimited excitement to kids during the summer holidays with a new season of its biggest India series – Kisna. Starting 10 May, kids can watch new adventures of Kisna and his friends Radhika, Suddi, Ballu and Toto as they battle the evil king Durjan and his accomplice Trikaal.

Produced by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Ketan Mehta, the new episodes of Kisna will double the fun and adventure as the friends along with their favourite superhero gear up for new challenges to save their hometown.

The new season of Kisna will premiere on Sunday 10 May, and will air every day at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Discovery Kids.

Kisna is a young boy, born and raised amongst the peace-loving people of Anandnagri. King Durjan is the evil ruler of Andhernagri, who wants to capture Anandnagri for its abundant natural resources and wealth. He is joined by Trikaal, the magician who conjures new troubles to disturb the peace in Anandnagri. The young superhero Kisna is the only one protecting his hometown from the evil King and his plans to cause mayhem.

King Durjan and Trikaal are planning new ways to trouble the people of Anandnagri and take control of the peaceful city. Kisna, using his intelligence, bravery and wit, ensures that his hometown and its people stay safe and clear of any danger. He is joined by his friends, parents and the people of Anandnagri in the battle against evil.

Discovery Kids will also air children’s favourite series such as Mister Maker, Akbar Birbal, Sally Bollywood and The Adventures Of Tenali Raman to make summer holidays exciting and fun.
