The action packed, star studded movie, ‘Dilwale’ that’s set to release this 18 December, is leaving no stone unturned in grabbing the attention of the young Indian minds. Dilwale which is a family entertainer with a perfect blend of action, romance and comedy is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Rohit Shetty Productions. And this time they have partnered with POGO and Cartoon Network, where Bollywood’s Baadshah, Shah Rukh Khan along with his Dilwale Team will be seen in three brand new TV specials for kids, Kris aur Shah Rukh ki Dilwale Bollywood Class, Oggy Ki Birthday Party – Dilwale style and Bheem aur Dilwale.
This isn’t the first time that kids channels have been used as a means to promote upcoming films. In the past, we have seen Happy New Year, Singham Returns, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick and many more films using this medium. Seems like it’s proving to be an effective method and we might get to see more such partnerships happening.
Kris aur Shah Rukh ki Dilwale Bollywood Class
Kris, the godly child who is an incarnation of Lord Krishna always stops Kanishk and his evil plans but this time, Kris will get to meet superstar Shah Rukh Khan who will help him realise his dreams of being a superstar one day. Kris has an exciting life in school but would love to learn the tricks of the trade – be it dance, action, comedy or drama. And, who better than Shah Rukh Khan can guide him with some tips on how to be a superstar? The 90 minute special, Roll No 21 will witness Shah Rukh guiding Kris by saying, “Meri nayi picture mein meri acting, dancing aur style par dhyaan dena. Tum sab kuch seekh jaoge.”
Oggy ki Birthday Party – Dilwale Style
It’s Oggy, the blue cat’s birthday and this year he’s in for a grand surprise. Falling on the joyous occasion of Christmas, Oggy’s birthday which usually gets ruined by the three roaches, Joey, Dee Dee and Marky, will be brightened up as his lovable brother Jack has invited the entire cast and crew of Dilwale to celebrate Oggy’s big day. Christmas, Dilwale cast and hardly any nuisance by the three cockroaches; what more can anyone ask for on their special day?
Commenting on this special day of Oggy, the king Khan said, “Aaj bohot hi special din hai. Iski ek nahin, do nahin, teen khaas wajah hain. Pehla, aaj Christmas hai. Doosra, humari film Dilwale release hone waali hai. Aur sabse badi wajah, humare favorite Oggy ka janmdin aane wala hai.”
Bheem aur Dilwale
In a mission to protect the kingdom of Dholakpur, Chhota Bheem and his friends are always on a watch out for any evil forces. And since it’s the joyous time of the year, POGO makes it a grand affair as the entire team of Dilwale visits Dholakpur. Real stars will meet the ‘reel’ stars in a 90 minute special as the December bash on 13th of this month. The cast takes a ride in the village, greeting Bheem and his friends, sharing secrets of strength, love and action.
Shahrukh Khan with immense thrill said, “Bheem mujhe bada pasand hai Kyu ki wo bhi Raj (in Dilwale) ki tarah kuch zyaada hi shareef aur seedha saadha ladka hai.”
Sharing Shahrukh’s excitement after meeting Bheem, Kajol said, “Yeh Bheem bhi kitna cute hai, aur bade dilwale type ka bhi bilkul meri tarah. Mere bacche Bheem ke itne bade fans hain, ke kya bataau.”
Kris aur Shah Rukh ki Dilwale Bollywood Class will premiere on 19 December 2015 at 12 noon, Oggy Ki Birthday Party – Dilwale style on Cartoon Network will premiere on 25 December 2015 at 11 am and Bheem aur Dilwale will premiere on 13 December 2015 at 12 pm on POGO. Both TV specials are complimented with contests that will give kids the opportunity to win exciting prizes.
