Bengal AVGC-XR Association brings West Bengal’s first ever AVGC-XR event,The Spectrum Summit’ on 15 April at Shivana Banquet Hall, Akankhya More, Newtown, Kolkata.
Launched on 16 October 2023, Bengal AVGC-XR Association is a nonprofit organisation guided by the principles of FICCI AVGC-XR Forum chairman Ashish Kulkarni. The collective body aims to be an umbrella of support to the aspiring artists and companies that create cartoons, special effects for movies, comics, exciting video games and extended reality industry in West Bengal.
Presently, Bengal is a house of 53 plus AVGC studios running production operations and 119 educational institutions offering AVGC courses.
The upcoming summit is powered by Twilight POST in partnership with Bengal AVGC-XR Association. Termed as ‘Bangalar AVGC-XR event 2024’, the event will bring stalwart speakers from various parts of India. The eminent speakers for the event include FICCI AVGC-XR Forum chairman Ashish Kulkarni, Pierre Angénieux ExcelLens award winning cinematographer Modhura Palit, Invest India VP and Film Facilitation Office head Shruti Rajkumar, MESC CEO Mohit Soni, Bengal AVGC-XR Association president and Hitech Animation MD Subrata Roy and others.
The day-long event will have sessions on ‘Developments and Benefits in Bengal under the IT Ministry, future scope of recognition of the AVGC-XR Industry under IT&E’; ‘Trends in the AVGC-XR Industry; IP creation and Bengal as a rising market’ and so on.
The Bengal AVGC-XR Association plans to officially launch their website and social media platforms paving way for future events and exchange of ideas in the sector.
