The characters which feature in India and China are characters created by comic artists Brenden Fletcher, Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India’s character Arbaaz Mir made his debut in 2013 graphic novel Assassin’s Creed: Brahman by Fletcher, Kerschl and Stewart. That story takes place two years after the events of the comic, following Mir’s attempt to recover a stolen artifact by the Templars.

For Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia follows the story of Nikolai Orelov, who’s making an attempt to retire from the life of an Assassin Order for a quiet life – but in order to do that, he has to complete one final task for the Brotherhood. When his mission to steal an ancient artifact brings him to a house where the Bolsheviks are holding the Tsar’s family, Nikolai finds himself the temporary guardian of the princess, Anastasia, and must escape the Templars with both Anastasia and the artifact.
