FX School in expansion mode, exploring strategic partnerships in India and Internationally

nullIn the past 18 months since it launched, Mumbai based FX School has firmly established its brand as a premiere institution for VFX, Photography, Digital Film Making and Animation.

The success of the school can be attributed to its genesis which is fused around digital film making, created and implemented by its industry networked and trendy tech savvy team.

Other qualifying factors contributing to the success of FX School is its ambience and culture that help create an urbane, aspirational and ‘feel good‘ learning experience. Its continuous weekend workshops have also made it sort of a hub for young, urban students exploring digital creative careers.

Having established its brand and credentials in the market, FX School is now stepping up the gas pedal on expansion. It is exploring strategic business partnerships in India and Internationally. Speaking to AnimationXpress.com, FX School‘s Co Founder Dinanath Gokhale shared, “FXSchool is in expansion mode, we are going to take both organic and inorganic route and in the next one year, we are looking at around 10 new centers all over India and perhaps a couple internationally as well.”

“At FX School we are very conscious and careful about the sanctity of our brand and all the educational values it stands for. So we are not going to just go and partner just about anyone who has the capital or a space to start a center. We are looking at strategic partnerships, wherein through our very unique model, we will ensure quality control, faculty training from our end and over a two year period transition more control to the center.”

CB Arun Kumar Co Founder of FX School shared, “In terms of the school‘s performance in the industry, our students have been absorbed from ‘on campus‘ even as their course was in the midst of being completed by studios including Pixion, Prime Focus, NAT Geo as well as film directors and companies such as Ram Gopal Verma and Irock. ”

He additionally shared that the school has registered a total of 750 students of which 300 are studying currently. Over 350 students have been awarded their certificates since inception of the school and that the 1st diploma batch will soon be ready to pass out.
