SuperSike Games Unveils Insights of Upcoming Browser Game ‘Go Kane!’

SuperSike Games, whose very first game ‘Yet Another Bird Game’, released last year, was in news for being a runner-up in the Square Enix GDCI and being showcased at the game at Casual Connect, Singapore, is now gearing up to launch its first free to play browser game Go Kane!

Go Kane! is a collaborative project between SuperSike Games, Mayank Saini and Suri Singh and set to release towards the end of the coming week.

Unveiling the core highlight of the game to AnimationXpress.com, Amit Goyal, Founder of SuperSike Games, shares, “The closest genre definition for the game would be arcade/adventure. Go Kane! cannot be any farther from Yet Another Bird Game in almost every aspect. The similarities between the two end at the fact that they are both 2D games.”

SuperSike’s chief objective with this game is to make people laugh through its story, art and dialogue.

Amit adds, “The game doesn’t utilize very intricate animations and the focus lies more on creating a unique look rather than elaborate animations.”

Anyone who likes to have a good time, and likes to have a laugh while at it will enjoy Go Kane! , but the game is restricted to matured audiences due to its content and subject matter.

“You will also feel the overbearing lack of time throughout the game, so tension (preferably of the nail-biting variety) is also on the agenda”, Adds more

On the technology front, artist Suri Singh has primarily made use of Adobe Flash and Photoshop to create varied aspects of the game.

“The priority was to make the simplest possible iteration of the game and put it out there for people to play quickly. Keeping all those things in mind, we decided to create a flash game to test the merit of the concept at play here.”  Adds further

We will surely catch up with Amit soon on the making of Go Kane!, but meanwhile we ask him about the plans SuperSike has for 2014, “We’re prepping Yet Another Bird Game for a major update that will add to the experience considerably. Plus, we also have another mobile game in the works we plan to release within the first half of the year.”
